Today we celebrate the strength, leadership, resilience, and impact of girls and women across all levels of sport. Your dedication continues to inspire the next generation and elevate the game in every way.

As we celebrate today, we’re also counting down to the Leonard Moody Collegiate Invitational, happening February 13–15, 2026 in Covington, Georgia! We’re looking forward to welcoming athletes, coaches, and supporters for another unforgettable weekend of competition and excellence.

Today we honor the heart behind it all!

The Leonard Moody Collegiate Invitational was created to honor the life and legacy of Coach Leonard Moody, co founder of the HBCU Collegiate Invitational. Coach Moody dedicated his life to elevating visibility and creating opportunity for women 🥎🎓 both on the field and in the classroom.

Each year, this tournament serves as a tribute to his impact and his unwavering belief in HBCU softball. Through this platform, we also proudly offer the Leonard Moody Scholarship, available to current HBCU softball student athletes. The scholarship recipient will be announced at the 3rd Annual Leonard Moody Collegiate Invitational Tournament.
