Covington Parks and Recreation The Covington Aquatic Center is located at 18230 SE 240th St, Covington WA 98042, next to Maple View Middle School. Water temperature is kept at 85ºF.

The Covington Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programming including youth athletics, recreation classes for all ages, and an indoor swimming pool. Click here to view location on a map

The pool is six lanes wide and 100’ long with depths ranging from 3 feet to 12 feet. The pool has two sections separated by a moveable bulkhead. Typically, the pool is configured with six lanes o

f 25 yards in the deep end of the pool and a small open section in the shallow end. Pool amenities include the following: 1-meter diving board, aquatic lift entry, and spectator area. A party room is available for rental with an approximate capacity of 40 people. Amenities include refrigerator/freezer, microwave, tables, and chairs. Pool Closure Policy - During inclement weather, the Aquatic Center may close due to road conditions or other hazards. If the Aquatic Center is closed, it will be posted on the top of this webpage and recorded on the Aquatic Center phone system, 253-480-2480.

HEADS UP: Covington Water District will be completing water system improvements, including a water main replacement, along SE 164th Avenue SE.

Equipment will begin mobilizing starting September 8 and the project will extend through October, although the timeline may be impacted by weather. The work will extend between SE 272nd and SE 240th streets, with additional work near Kentwood High School and Mattson Middle School.

Drivers should expect periodic lane closures and flaggers throughout the project area. Please use caution and allow extra travel time. Work hours may also be limited during school arrival and dismissal times.

Our September Drive In Movies continue this Friday, Sept. 11 with Lilo & Stitch (live action)! Join us at 7:45 p.m. at Town Center Lawn. Load up the car, bring your favorite snacks and get cozy for the show!

We’ll also have free raffle giveaways, plus popcorn (while supplies last) provided by Ezee Fiber!

Whether your dancer is just getting started or ready to try a mix of dance styles, there’s a class for them:

Pre-Ballet | Ages 3-5
A fun introduction to ballet, movement and music! There are two class times available: 4:30 or 5:15 p.m.
