All I can say is Thank You!!! This past year has been an awesome year where we have been amazed and blessed beyond all our imagination. We got to meet all kinds of new people, who taught us a lot as well as we got to teach them about the simplicity and awesomeness of axe throwing.

Tomorrow, we will close the Southern Axe store in Oakland ans welcome in new owners who I know for a fact will bring new and exciting offerings to Oakland, Fayette County, Arlington, Collierville and the surrounding areas.

Please welcome them with open arms as you did us! Thank you again.

May our axes cross paths again!

Well, what a night! A huge thank you to the folks that came out tonight and threw in our first tournaments for hatchet and big axe. That’s right, BIG AXE! We had an absolute blast!

Jave “Yoshi” Yoshimoto, a WATL throwing native visiting Memphis from Nebraska, won both tournaments defeating our own Ken Sutton in hatchets and Jon Davis in Big Axe! Needless to say it was amazing if you followed our lives and watched him throw! We’re still wondering if he had a battery compartment cause he was an axe throwing machine lol!

Daggum it’s hot!!! You know where it’s not? The Southern Axe!!! The air is on! Wide open!!! We promise you that! There’s a pretty good theory that the more the axes fly, the greater the breeze!

All day today and all day tomorrow, we are calling this weekend a Wallet Saver weekend! We know financially times are tough so here ya go! Let me help you make staying in town with something fun to do more affordable! Families can throw for $50 (up to 5 people) and $80 (up to 10 people).

Also don’t forget our Beat The Heat Tournament this weekend starting Sunday at 5pm! $35 to throw and $20 if you wanna buy back in (provided you get ousted). This tournament is a random draw double elimination IATF based tournament! Yes we have and want competition but we want to have fun more than anything! So if you have thrown here with us in the past, come on out and throw with us again!!! And if you sign up, you can practice for $10 per hour all weekend!
