Took the weekend off from competition to let our guys get a little break and enjoy the fair and other festivities over the weekend. And guess what?!? Our guys just keep winning; whether it was fair entry awards, all A’s and B’s on report cards, terrific turtles, beta inductions, student of the month, turtle treats, or kids giving their life to Jesus and getting baptized, all this group does is WIN! Wins on the field are great absolutely, but the wins in the class room and in life mean that much more!

This was was just a little bit sweeter! Sunday only tournament and we showed up flat, unfocused, and not ourselves. But one meeting in CF after going 0-2 in pool play and challenging these guys to be better, to wake up, and to go to work and be the team we know they can be, is all it took. We had to play three games in a row, one hour break and then a double header again. Talk about a long day, but these boys absolutely went to work! Beating the number 1 & 2 seeds in games 4&5 on the day to win it all. Everyone in the park counted us out, but we kept fighting and kept grinding until we got the results we wanted. Champs again!
