It's hot. We're riding anyway.

Casual sunset lap at Premier Health Atrium Medical Center Bike Park tonight, rolling at 6:30. Chill pace, plenty of shade, and it cools off fast once the light goes gold. We always ease into the ride with some of the mellow trails. So if you're running late just wait in the parking lot.

Bring your mountain bike, helmet, extra water of course.

⭐ Bonus points if you fill it up with ice!

That's the whole list. We'll bring some snacks to share.

Details in the events section.

Sometimes it feels better in the woods riding bikes. Join us for the next one!

Ride with us at Mt. Airy TrailFest - 2026. Sat, Sept 26, 10 AM. Meet at the West Fork lot (search "Mt. Airy Mountain Bike Trailhead" on Google Maps). A couple of hours on the trails, then the skills park at TrailFest to kick things off at noon.

Be sure to bring your hiking boots for some cross training!

Let's slow it down. We're looking forward to seeing some new faces. Who wants to come cruise with us?

Load the bike up in the morning. Throw a couple water bottles in the fridge. Then come hang with your new riding buddies in Mt Airy Forest.

We usually ride for about 5 miles or 90 minutes at a pace with plenty of room to chat.

We're regrouping at every intersection and nobody rolls out until everybody's there, and there's a local rider sweeping the back the whole way. Walk anything you don't like the look of. We all do.

Got some speed in you? The fast group leaves from the same spot at the same time. Feel free to fall back if your legs just don't have it that day.

Either way, we're meeting back at the picnic table after, hot grill going, one of those cold water bottles waiting.

Last night was a good one. Thanks to everybody who came out!

We're starting something here: bringing back the casual ride. No hammering off the front, nobody getting shelled on the first climb. Group rides turned into races somewhere along the way, and we're done with that.

More of these coming. Bring a friend, bring somebody new, bring the person who thinks they're too slow to keep up. They're not. See you out there.

Go ride your bike!

Devou tonight. 6:30 PM! No-drop, all skill levels, no one gets left behind.

New to CMBC? This is the ride to start on — somebody will hang back with you.

Helmet, water, and a bike that rolls. That's it.

See you at 6:30.

If you're new here, the short version: we ride weeknights, we don't leave anyone behind, and you don't need a fancy bike to show up.

Weekday group rides, all at 6:30 PM:
Tuesday — Mt. Airy Forest MTB Trails
Wednesday — Mitchell Memorial Forest
Thursday — Lebanon Bike Park
Friday — Devou Park Trails

Every ride is no-drop and open to all skill levels. Come anyway. Somebody will ride with you. Yes. Really.

This is the good part of the year. Why we all agree to stay through the grey winter and unpredictable weather.

The heat breaks, the dust settles, the trails go quiet and fast, and suddenly every weekend has something on it. Campouts. Costumes. Kids on their first singletrack. A Thanksgiving weekend where we ride three state parks in three days and call it a holiday tradition.

You don't need to be fast. You don't need a nice bike. Half the people on these rides are still figuring out their gears, and the other half are eight years old.

Full fall calendar is right here. Pick one and come find us.
