What a day for our California Grapplers 12U dual team! We started the day by winning all three dual meets and finishing first in our pool. That moved us into the Gold Bracket, where we faced Rising Sun, a talented Arizona All Star team. After several close and exciting matches, our wrestlers stepped up and earned the win.

We then battled a very strong Montanona Training Center team before finishing the night against the SoCal Hammers. It was a long and intense day, but our kids continued to fight, support one another and compete hard until the final whistle.

Congratulations to all our wrestlers, wrestling partners, coaches, parents and everyone who helped make this possible. A big thank you to the SoCal Hammers coaches, parents, staff and snack bar crew for hosting a great day of wrestling and taking care of everyone throughout the tournament. Looking forward to the next one.

Parents and Wrestling family, we could really use your help (tonight) on Wednesday nights! Our weekly Bingo fundraiser is one of the ways we help raise money for our wrestling programs and keep costs down for our families. These funds help with tournament travel, hotels, entry fees, equipment, championship rings, wrestling mats and other expenses throughout the season.

There are two easy ways you can support us: come out and play Bingo or volunteer and help us run the night. We need players and volunteers anytime between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM and you don’t have to stay the entire time. Even an hour or two helps!

Bring some family or friends, come play a few games and help support our wrestlers at Northview, Las Palmas and California Grapplers.

We appreciate everyone who continues to give their time and support our kids. See you Wednesday night!

September is here and Las Palmas Middle School Wrestling is rolling!

Practice Schedule:
Tuesdays • 12:30–2:00 PM
Thursdays • 3:00–4:30 PM

We’re currently working on setting up dual meets and competitions with other middle schools, so stay tuned for more information!
Want to join the team? No experience necessary. Just turn in a completed parent release form and come ready to learn.

Parents, we also use the BAND app for team updates and communication. Send us a message and we’ll gladly send you the link.

NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN US, PRESEASON WRESTLING IS UNDERWAY! Our California Grapplers Preseason Session runs now through October 23, so there’s still plenty of time to join us and get valuable mat time before the regular season begins.

Whether your wrestler is stepping on the mat for the first time or preparing for the upcoming season, our preseason session is all about learning, improving technique, getting stronger and building confidence through consistent wrestling.

We’re excited to get another season of Las Palmas Middle School Wrestling underway!

August 25 – November 5
Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
Duration: Approximately 1½ hours
Grades: 6th, 7th & 8th
No experience necessary

This season will include after-school practices, strength and conditioning and district dual meets.

IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS:
• Headgear will be required for dual meets
• Official weigh-ins will take place at dual meets
• A completed parent release form is required
• Additional schedules, dual meet information and rule updates will be shared as they are finalized

Loving these Meta glasses videos already 😂 This upcoming wrestling season is going to be fun!…This one features Sophia “Cheeto” Muñoz after taking 1st today at D-Day in San Diego. Cheeto had some simple words of wisdom for all the wrestlers coming up: “Work harder.”

Of course she also had to get a little shot in at her pops for not having enough followers 😂
