Friday Fun Day at the New England Charity Horse Show🎉

🥇Gof Oakland & Katie Daoud had a clean sweep of the Adult Equitation division and qualified for NEEC Finals. This young horse continues to impress us with his calm, cool demeanor. He certainly has some finals wins in his bright future!🏆

🥇Katie Daoud earned her second championship of the day on her favorite racehorse, Scofield, with another clean sweep in the 2'6" Habitat for Humanity Hunters. There is something so fun in watching a horse who knows when to turn it ON💫.

Classic New England Day at Folly Farm for ABF. There was sun, then light rain, then horizontal rain, then Auntie 'Em winds, and then finally a sunny ending.

Gof Oakland & Katie Daoud had a great trip on a blustery hunt field with occasional sideways rain and got some more NEHC points. This young horse continues to astound us with his professionalism. He is certainly one to watch!

Menai Samsational & Tess were champion again in the Training Hunters. Tess also got great ribbons in her Pre Children's Eq Division with Posh Practical Magic.

Oh My Days & Becky Mooar Kelleher had their debut in the Mod Eq division, and were also Reserve Champion in their Training Hunters with a hack win.

Notorious & Kayla McGee had a stunning horse show debut as a team with the win in all three o/f classes and Champion in their competitive Training Hunter Divison.

Thanks to Timmy Farr for getting our horses there and back safely and thanks to our wonderful horses for playing along on a day that was full of unexpected twists and turns from Mother Nature.💗

ABF Equine North is excited to offer a rare opportunity for a limited number of partial on-farm leases while several of our owners are busy growing their families.

We currently have quality hunters, equitation horses, and a few jumpers available for motivated riders looking to learn, grow, and become part of a supportive team atmosphere.

Our program proudly supports both locally rated competitions and USEF shows throughout New England and Florida year-round. Our horses and riders have consistently earned top ribbons at many major finals, including National Horse Show, New England Equitation Championships, Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association Finals, MHJ Finals, Rhode Island Finals, and Ariat Finals.

While stall availability at ABF Equine North is extremely limited, and openings rarely become available, we are currently accepting inquiries for a small number of boarders looking to join our supportive and competitive program.

At ABF Equine North, we believe in thoughtful, correct training that develops confident riders and happy horses who stay enthusiastic about their jobs. Our team culture is rooted in sportsmanship, horsemanship, and supporting one another both in and out of the show ring.

Great morning at Mystic Valley Hunt Club today!

🏅Rolltide had beautiful trips in the 3ft Derby, narrowly missing out on a prize in a large field, and had great trips in a very competitive Adult Hunter division. Great riding by Kasi Ray for Marley Platosh. This LOVELY mare is proudly offered for lease on or off-farm due to owner expecting👶.

🏅GBY/BKI Gof Oakland and Katie Daoud got more One Day Fun Day experience in the Adult Equitation and NEHC medal. She's doing a great job piloting this young horse and his 28ft stride💪.

🏅Sanniboy and MaryKate Pestana had a stellar debut in the Adult Equitation, ending up Reserve Champion! Our favorite little jumper seems to like playing equitation horse🌶

ABF North spent the past very colddddd six months skill building and working on rideability, and we ventured out to our first show of the season today. Becky Mooar Kelleher 's Oh My Days was VERY happy to be on a field trip and gained a new fan club and showed allllll the scope and alllllll the lead changes and kept to a 12ft step💪 (iykyk), Hannah Kaye FINALLY got to show her Cascarado V after a long road of rehabilitation (every horse would be lucky to be owned by Hannah!), and Tess G. showed what putting a solid year of really learning HOW to ride (aka doingalltheflatwork) her lease pony Posh Practical Magic can do--Champion in their first time ever doing the Pre-Children's Eq.

All three of these partnerships have been an exercise in patience and learning how to grow from the ground up. You will never regret taking your time at the beginning of a partnership with a horse!

With facilities and trainers in both Coventry, CT and Ocala, FL, we’re able to offer our clients incredible flexibility. Our young horses and sale horses benefit from consistent training at home while also gaining valuable exposure traveling to a variety of venues—giving them every opportunity to develop, succeed, and shine.

Our owners love knowing their horses stay in a consistent program—not just in their training, but in their daily routine and care. And let’s be honest… it doesn’t hurt that the billing stays just as consistent, even when the location changes.
