Day 1, race 6 at Mid-Ohio was a good day. 11th overall and 4th in class. Race was shorted by 20 minutes. Sherod was closing in fast on 3rd but ran out of time. 1 minute 46 seconds was his fastest lap. Day 2, we knew tires were going to be a problem. Sherod had a good start and turned laps 2 seconds faster than Saturday. He started loosing grip in the front, lost the draft and faded back in the pack. The weekend and Mid-Ohio was great and we will be better prepared next time. Good points weekend for the UKC championship.

Sherod won today at the American Kart Racing Alliance national event hosted by the Woodbridge Kart Club at NCCAR located in Garysburg, NC.

Sherod pushed his Muddy Cross Racing 125cc IAME powered Formula K kart to speeds of 93 mph to finish 19 seconds ahead of the second place finisher during the 30 minute race. He would like to thank Herman Charity, Winners Circle Chrysler Dodge Jeep, The Baker's Home and Kurtz Kutz for their continued support as sponsors for Buddy Tubbs Racing.

This will be the closest Sherod will be to his hometown of Courtland, Virginia. Come on out and support if you can. He will race twice today and once tomorrow. Races are 30 minutes in length.

Started on pole and finished P2. Not the finish he was looking for but still had a good race and suggested some changes to be made to the kart before the next race.
