🏁 2019 • 2021 🏁 Kevin Zeitner Motorsports(KZM), operated out of Omaha, NE, started in 2008 as an IMCA Sport Compact team racing weekly at I-80 Speedway. KZM would jump to Eagle Raceway in 2010 to continue IMCA weekly racing in the sport compact division till 2012. Kevin Zeitner picked up the win at the 2012 Eagle Nationals. In 2013 KZM moved to the IMCA Hobby Stock division and would remain calling Eagle Raceway home. The move to Shelby County Speedway(SCS) for IMCA weekly racing was made mid 2014. It would become home for the number 60 hobby stock till 2016. KZM made the move to the Northern Sport Modified division in 2017, and continued to race at SCS for IMCA weekly racing through 2021. Since making the move to the sport modified division Kevin Zeitner has picked up wins at Shelby County Speedway, Park Jefferson Int Speedway, Adams County Speedway and I-80 Speedway. Kevin has also brought home three SCS Track Championships(2018, 2020, 2021).

We're still chasing the fast guys and the balance in this car, but we made a lot of headway Saturday night at ACS!

After starting 5th in the heat and quickly getting to 3rd progress would stop there as the car just wasn't cooperating.

The redraw put us starting 9th in the A main.

After a long list of big changes to the car in the pits the car woke up! Kevin worked his way to 3rd and ran there most of the race slowly reeling in the leaders. A handful of late race cautions and worn tires would cost us 3rd right at the finish line and put us 4th.

Last night was quite the night!

Hot laps: Folded the nose under. Had to put the spare nose on.
Heat: 9th to 5th. Was sitting 4th before jumping the cushion in 3&4.
B feature: 1st to 1st. Led every lap
A feature: 17th to 10th after dodging two wrecks, but getting collected in another in turn 4. The wreck in turn 4 would fold the backup nose under as well making it very difficult to make any progress after that.

Eagle Raceway was a blast! We'll be back on black dirt this coming Saturday at Shelby County Speedway!

Not the results we were looking for last night. After finishing 7th in the heat, we had to run a B feature. The car just wasn’t there, so Kevin ended up pulling off, resulting in a DNF for the night.

We’re off for the remainder of the weekend to enjoy the Silver Dollar Nationals - but we’ll find some speed and see you all very soon!
