Winter indoor sessions are ideal times to work on fundamentals and feels. We don’t need ball flight to find success. Today we worked on a down and under drill with the Orange Whip to help shallow the path and learn to keep the hands down and left with the body. His tendency is to early extend(stand up) and throw his hands to create speed.

Impact 3 years apart. June 2018-July 2021. First WTJGA tournament played and TGA Girls Junior Amateur Championship. It’s the same and different at the same time. Let their natural instincts and athleticism paint the pictures, make small adjustments to fundamentals and create opportunity to play and compete.

Keep things simple and fun to get them started. Have them play other sports to develop their athletic skills and learn teamwork. It’s a lifetime activity for them to enjoy. They’ll let you know their level of interest, don’t worry 😉
