What an incredible week at the women’s basic handgun class. Every year this class gets better, and this year‘s group of ladies absolutely knocked it out of the park. From first time shooters to those looking to build on existing skills, everyone show determination, confidence, and a willingness to learn. Throughout the week, we covered firearm safety, proper handling, movement, failure to stop drills, legal considerations and much more. One of the biggest advantages of this class is the opportunity to try multiple handgun types and calibers.
We wrapped up the week with some fun on the range, ringing steel, and battling it out on the dueling trees. The smiles, laughter, and growing confidence is a great reminder why we love offering this course. We’re seriously considering adding a women’s advanced handgun course in the future for those looking to continue their training and take their skills to the next level.
