Congratulations Aaron Wright on being inducted into the District 9 Wrestling Hall of Fame. What an honor and the CHS Wrestling Booster would like to thank you for your time and dedication to our program.

“Aaron is a graduate of Coudersport High School in 2000 and was a three time District IX Champion in 1997, 1998 and
2000. He was the North West Regional Champion in 1998 and 2000 and placed third at the PIAA State Championships in 1999 and second in the 2000 State Championships. His career high school record was 126-16.
Following his high school career, Aaron attended Penn State University during 2001 and 2002 and Clarion University in 2003 and 2004. In 2004, he was the runner-up in the PSAC tournament and fourth in EWL Wrestling Championships. Aaron’s college wrestling career record was 78-35.
After college, Aaron coached at Coudersport where he coached Dirk Cowburn, the present Head Coach of the Falcons to two State Championships, a runner-up finish and a fourth place at 140 lbs in 2007 and finished with a career record of 149-9 record.”
