Happy National Coaches Day!

Wrestling coaches do a lot more than teach takedowns, turns, and escapes. They challenge athletes, hold them accountable, pick them up after tough losses, celebrate the wins, and help shape the kind of people they become long after they leave the mat.

Today we want to recognize the coaches who give their time, energy, knowledge, and heart to Mingus Wrestling during the season, in the offseason, and all the hours in between that most people never see.

Thank you for continuing to invest in our wrestlers and helping build the future of this program.

And to coaches everywhere who continue showing up for their athletes, Happy National Coaches Day.

Better athletes. Better people.
Go Marauders! 🏴‍☠️🤼

Great weekend of wrestling for Mingus. 🤼‍♂️🔥

A huge thank you to Coach Brandon Bradley Nebraska Wrestling for making the trip to Arizona and sharing his knowledge with these athletes. Getting two full days of instruction, drilling, and a different perspective from someone with that level of experience was an awesome opportunity for our guys.

And a big thank you to PHS Badger Wrestling for putting this camp together and inviting us to be a part of it. Opportunities like this are what the offseason is all about.

Our boys represented Mingus well, worked hard, and picked up plenty to bring back to the room. Looking sharp, fellas. 💪🏻

🤼‍♀️ What an unforgettable off-season for our girls' wrestling team!

🤼‍♀️From the final whistle of last season straight into summer training, these athletes never stopped grinding. As our off-season officially comes to a close, we could not be prouder of the dedication, sweat, and heart these girls poured into the sport over the last few months.
Here is a look at what they accomplished:
☀️ Hosted an incredible summer camp to inspire the next generation.
🔱 Attended the ASU summer camp to learn from top-tier collegiate talent.
🏋️‍♀️ Crushed endless weight room sessions and grueling practices.🌵 Traveled across New Mexico and Arizona to test their skills against the best.
All that hard work paid off big time on the mat! The team is bringing home serious hardware from our summer tournaments:🥇 3 First-Place Medals
🥈 4 Second-Place Medals
🏅 3 Fourth-Place Medals
🏅 1 Fifth-Place Medal
🏅 2 Sixth-Place Medals
These girls have worked incredibly hard to elevate their game. The foundation is laid, the hunger is there, and we cannot wait to see what is in store for them this upcoming season!
Get ready, because this team is just getting started. ⚡💪

Had a great time coaching this group of kids.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up with great attitudes and who were ready to work. We had a great group this summer that had a lot of fun, kept improving, learned a ton, and put in the work to get ready for the season in the coming months.
