When our joints hurt, our instinct is to stop moving. "I'm just going to take it easy."

Unless you have an acute injury, resting is usually the worst thing you can do for joint pain.

Motion is lotion.

Proper mobility and strength training lubricate the joints and build the muscles that support them. When you "take it easy," your joints get stiffer, your muscles get weaker, and the pain actually gets worse.

Stop taking it easy.

Start moving intentionally.
