Our Moms on the Run Summer Marathon Training Group is kicking off soon, and we’re celebrating with a special LIVE webinar featuring Moms on the Run National Fitness Director and Olympian, Carrie Tollefson! 🎉

Global Running Day is tomorrow! 🌎🏃‍♀️💜💚

Global Running Day is a worldwide celebration of movement, community, and the joy of running - no matter your pace, distance, or experience level. It’s a day to celebrate what running gives us: strength, confidence, community, stress relief, laughter, growth, and connection.

We might be a teeny tiny bit bias, but we think the Moms on the Run community represents the absolute BEST part of the running world! Women showing up for themselves and each other, cheering one another on (cowbells included!), and proving that fitness can be joyful, welcoming, and fun.

Check with your local Moms on the Run location to see how they’ll be celebrating tomorrow! (Spoiler alert: it will probably involve a run. 😅)

And PLEASE take lots of pictures! We can’t wait to see your smiling faces on the GRD post on our national page tomorrow!

It's Sunday, August 23, 2026 and at a new location (and flatter course!) at Normandale Lake Park, in Bloomington, MN! Not local to that area? No problem! We have a virtual race option for you (with special opportunities for virtual runner ONLY prizes!).

You deserve waaaaaaaaay more than one day a year of recognition, but until we convince the powers that be that we need a Mother's Appreciation YEAR - we guess for now, a day will have to do. 😅

So here's to all of you that give your all to those around you day in and day out, and still somehow find a way to make self-care possible. We see you, we are so proud of you, and especially today, we celebrate you. 💜☺️

Celebrate Moms is coming up this weekend! 🎉

This event is a casual, all-levels Moms on the Run style workout followed by refreshments, fun, and some much-needed girlfriend time. 💜💚 Come meet other local women, move your body, and celebrate yourself for a change!

Most locations are hosting their Celebrate Moms event on Saturday, May 9, while a few locations will celebrate on Sunday, May 10 - so be sure to check with your local Moms on the Run for specific details and times!

Grab a friend, bring the kiddos, and show up exactly as you are - this is what Moms on the Run is all about. ☺️ Fitness, fun, friendship… and celebrating YOU. 💜
