We have a Black Belt test this month, let's highlight our Black Belt Candidates!

Today’s candidate spotlight is on Mason!

Mason is always acting like a leader in class, whether he means to or not. We love that Mason isnt just martial artist and kid, but also a great example for younger students to look up to! We ask all of our candidates to write an essay about their martial arts experience and journey to black belt, here’s our favorite quote from Mason's essay.

“I felt very accomplished, I was thinking better of myself and being much nicer. Then when I started to really start to dig it, I realized that I was on track to get my black belt.”

Summer is just around the corner, and we have a new and improved Summer Passport Challenge for our students!

You dont have to put a pause on summer fun for karate, karate should be a part of it! This summer your student can complete challenges like bringing friends to class, attending Infinity events and more to earn raffle tickets. At the end of the summer we will raffle off infinity merch and other prizes!

Even if you cant make it to any extra events this summer, if your student completes 30 classes and finishes the journey to 30 before school starts they will get 10 tickets added to the raffle! Just make sure they bring their passport to class so an instructor can mark their attendance!

We have a Black Belt test this month, let's highlight our Black Belt Candidates!

Today's candidate spotlight is on Milo!

Since Day 1, Milo has always been showing up to class ready to give it his all. We have always loved Milo’s positive attitude, and know that he brings it to practically everything he does. We ask all of our candidates to write an essay about their martial arts experience and journey to black belt, here’s our favorite quote from Milo's essay.

“Throughout my karate journey I realized that karate is not about fighting, being the strongest or thinking you are better than everyone else, but it is about honor, respect, and responsibility. I want to be the one who won't start the fight or finish it with violence but to use words.”

Flashback Friday: From Little Warriors to Instructors

Mr Kaden started his karate journey in 2016 and was eventually hired on as a summer camp counselor. Kaden has since joined us on the karate floor as an assistant instructor, as well as leading our competition prep class and helping students prepare to compete at competitions across the state!

Happy Birthday to Ms Lea Anderson!!!

Not only is she a 4th degree black belt and lead instructor, she is also the highest ranking female black belt to have ever come out of Cottage Grove!

By anyone’s standards, she is an excellent leader both on and off the mats. She is our studio organizer of events, handles as many of our member needs as possible, and always finds time to still personally connect with individual students and the rest of our coaches.
