Instructor Spotlight: Meet Dominique and wish her a happy birthday!
💚Why do you love teaching at Trim?
Teaching at Trim gives me the opportunity to share what made me fall in love with Lagree in the first place. The method builds so much more than physical strength — it challenges you mentally, builds confidence, and reminds you just how capable you are. Helping clients discover that for themselves, celebrate their progress, and maybe even fall in love with Lagree too is incredibly rewarding!
💚What can people expect when they take your class?
Intentional programming with a little spice. I love giving clients opportunities to revisit movements so you can master the form, find that effective zone, and build from there - the better we know a movement, the more we can get out of it! Expect classes with a specific focus, slow tempos, good beats, high energy, and plenty of time under tension. I’ll keep you moving slow when your body wants to speed up, then challenge you to find a little more. My goal is to maximize our 45 minutes together so you leave feeling stronger, accomplished, and maybe a little shaky!
💚When you’re not teaching at Trim, what keeps you busy?
There’s a good chance you’ll still find me at Trim — just on the other side of the Megaformer! Outside the studio, I’m working, adventuring with my Dalmatian/Lab rescue, planning my wedding, or trying to squeeze in a round of golf.
💚What’s your guilty pleasure or little indulgence?
Coffee, sweets, and shopping. I’m always down for a good coffee, can rarely pass up dessert, and never need much convincing for a trip to the mall. Bonus points if I can fit all three into the same day!
💚Share a fun or unexpected fact about yourself!
I’m a big golfer! I love playing local favorites and finding new courses whenever I travel. And fun fact: Lagree is so good for your golf game. All that core strength, stability, balance, and control translates beautifully to your swing. So golfers, I expect to see you in the Lagree room!
