Willamette Park is closed today per an email from the City of Corvallis.

Due to severe inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, all City of Corvallis facilities are closed on December 23, 2022. Police, Fire, and emergency dispatch services are available. Please call 911 in an emergency. This includes all City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation Facilities and programs.Thank you!

The first pass of installing the new out of bounds is done. Glow in the dark Beavers Orange, matching the baskets 😎 Adjustments and additions can come later, but at least the full length of both sides of the gravel road is marked. Thanks to Corvallis Parks & Recreation for providing the materials and hessel for lending a hand.

Glove found yesterday. Will be at PIAS, along with that Queen no one claimed a couple weeks back.

With maybe one exception on 18, the course is in the layout for this weekend! The grass is down, the leaves aren't bad, the trails are good, and the OB is very well flagged! The road is even fresh graded. One thing we could use is more sticks tossed off the course on your way through. Appreciated! The weather looks to be relatively nice the next few days. Great time to make a date with her while she's got her makeup on! 💋

Park restrooms are back open on weekends! Thank you City of Corvallis!

On another note, the women's bathroom has already seen some recent vandalism, which could get the restrooms shut down again. We know it is not a disc golfer, but let's be vigilant and keep our eyes open to protect our park.

Word from City Parks is that the new shutdown will not affect the park and the course will remain open.

Willamette DGC will be closed to the public on September 19th and 20th, 2020 between 8 AM and 5 PM for a PDGA B-Tier professional tournament. This is with approval and permit through the City of Corvallis. There is a list of alternative courses on the signs. Thanks for understanding!

A lot of w**d eating has been done the last couple days, and parks mowed today. Both need more work but we're doing what we can with the resources we have. For those keeping score, this is already the third time this year that Parks has mowed at Willamette and it is not even mid-May 👏

Willamette Disc Golf Course is still open. The only thing closed are the play structure and restrooms. This is subject to change, of course. As always, if anything does change, I will post it on the page and share it in the club group. Please be safe, including things like sanitize frequently, maintain spacing from others, and please don't go out in groups - besides just being pandemic irresponsible, it looks bad and might get the course closed down! Stay healthy my friends.
