Every so often you get to experience a child’s first event. Walking, talking, standing, no training wheel’s, etc…. Today I was overjoyed that my 10y/o was able to shoot his first 3D course besides the deer in our backyard. He was so overwhelmed by standing at different angles, shooting from within the woods and having to find his target behind some brush. I’m not sure his grin ever let down, not once. After 18 targets and a mile walk through the woods, he is one happy, but tired boy!!

Every now and then I can’t figure out why my shooting is so far off. Fatigue, focus or just an off day could be a factor. I practiced at 50 yards and hit the leg once and shot short the next. Once I took a breather and really focused, I stuck both my shots from 50 yards into the heart. Not really sure what that was all about, but I am glad I was able to overcome it. I know I am not the only one who has an off day shooting and it takes a while to figure it out. How do you overcome your bad shooting days? 11 Bravo 🤘🏻
