Cortland Youth Hockey Association Community based association, with both recreational and travel teams. CCYHA is currently Tier III and a member of USA Hockey.

Cortland Youth Hockey Association is dedicated to providing the opportunity for youth in Cortland and surrounding counties to play youth hockey. CCYHA fields teams from the Mite to Midget level in both travel and house and has an Initiation Program as well.

Looking to take your goalie’s game to the next level this spring? Don’t miss the opportunity to train with NCAA goaltending coach Nick Harper—current goalie coach for the SUNY Cortland men’s team and Syracuse University women’s program.

The Harper Goaltending Elite Goalie Training Sessions are designed to build strong fundamentals, improve positioning, and develop confidence in the crease through high-level, position-specific instruction. Spots are still available—email Coach Harper at [email protected] to secure yours today.

In addition to HALF-PRICE season registration, CCYHA goalies benefit from this same level of training throughout the season, with Coach Harper working directly with them. If you're a goalie looking for high-level training and a program that focuses on development, CCYHA may be the place for you.

We are excited for the 2026-2027 season to offer our players:

• On-ice skills training with Bob Shatell and his Salt City Prospects Team
• Off-ice performance training focusing on strength, speed, and agility with Caleb Wright (Clockedin Strength & Conditioning)
• Goalie-Specific training with Nick Harper (Syracuse University Women's and SUNY Cortland Men's Goalie Coach)

The team battled some good competition this weekend going undefeated in pool play and clinching their spot in the championship game after a 4-2 victory in the semi-finals this morning.

Our Dental Arts 14u TB and Shop N Hop 16u TB teams are heading to the NYSAHA Tier III State Tournament this weekend in Buffalo. The teams have put in the work and are ready to compete. The preliminary round kicks off tomorrow at 10:15 for 14u and 12:00 pm for 16u. Good Luck to our all players and coaches!!! 🔥🏒🏆

Our Dental Arts 14U TB team wrapped up their final practice of the season tonight, closing out their season-long competition with the COVID Cup Finals.

Congratulations to Team Black and Team Yellow, our 2026 champions! The winning teams added their names to the COVID Cup Road Cone and celebrated with some well-earned cookiewiches.
