This was cool, but a very unorthodox, project! 8 eyelets needed replacement, two spots where the inside liner was coming undone, AND custom interchangeable tongue swap to reduce lace bite! Shout-out to my wife, Shannon, for helping me out!

With the Olympics finished up, I ran across this oldie-but-goodie! I've been watching this guy's videos for years. Now it's cool to see my kids get a kick outta something they learned to do naturally!

Okay okay... I know hockey is kinda my main thing. But dang! It sure is nice to sharpen a PROPER set of competitive figure skates every once in a while!

For whatever reason... Lately I've been either working on a lot of goalie stuff, asked if I could play goalie, needed a goalie, been coaching goalies, or standing in front of goalies. Regardless, I find this picture to be accurate! ...did I mention that I work on goalie stuff? 😁

This is not totally a hockey post. I also have no affiliation with this video. But it's good to look back and found it super interesting! Whether you skated or not, it WAS an integral part of our generation! As a kid who grew up in the 80's and 90's, Rollerblading in general was my scene! But as I dove more into hockey, inline kinda just ... vanished! Obviously it's not completely dead these days. So bust out you neon f***y pack, turn up your Sony Walkman, and give it a watch!

Hockey season is back in full swing! Well, the NHL is back. For us parents with kids in hockey it probably never actually stopped! ...Well neither have I! I've been plugging away one sharpening, repair, swap, and custom project at a time!

This is not just a fancy color upgrade! The factory lace on this new Bauer goalie glove was swapped out with Paracord for a massive strength and wear upgrade! The customer didn't know if we could do this to his brand new mitt, but we can! And the finished product turned out better than factory!
