A group of us had a chance to get together with Vinny and celebrate his 2:05:54 Marathon tonight. He is as humble as ever but maybe has a little more bounce in his stride than normal... and that's quite difficult to do the day after a marathon!
Congrats, Vincent Mauri! (But why do you have to make me look so fat in the picture??)

Not sure that I ever remember a bigger day for marathon successes in my life.
Two men break the 2-hour barrier at the London Marathon with times of 1:59:30 and 1:59.41 and the woman's winner goes 2:15:41.
And closer to home, Vincent Mauri cruises to a 2:05:54 in his debut Marathon at Toledo Glass City an set an all-time American fastest debut marathon time.
