Delta Barracuda Swimming

It was a GREAT weekend to be a Barracuda! The Delta Barracudas placed 3rd at the Gunnison Swim meet, and swimmers dropped lots of time! Congrats to Jette C for taking home "HIGH POINT SCORER for 9/10 girls", and to these four girls for bringing home FIRST in both relays!

Sign ups for Montrose Swim Meet (June 27 and 28) are due tomorrow (Thursday). This meet is accessible for both Competitive and Developmental Swimmers. Please reach out with questions!

A GREAT first week of summer swim! The pool was FULL of both new and returning swimmers.

A note from coaches: expect your swimmers to be tired as they adjust to the demands of practices! The kids are doing great and their bodies will start catching rhythm over the next couple weeks.

For Competitive swimmers, the deadline to sign up for events for the Gunnison Swim meet (June 5, 6 and 7) is Monday, June 1. Please reach out if you're unsure how to navigate this process.

Developmental swimmers are currently working on 4 legal strokes so they can compete in the future if they choose!

Friday (tomorrow) is the final swim clinic available before the season begins next week! Join us (no sign up necessary) from 4-5p, for only the cost of admission to the Rec Center! The kids have been enjoying being back in the pool together these past two weeks, working on their strokes and hanging out with friends!
