📣📣Exciting Announcement 📣📣

For the past year the M-CHS Athletic Office and the District Office have been working on getting a new scoreboard for the High School Gym. The new 2-year athletic cycle and recently implemented NFHS rules for our athletic programs has led to the installation of a digital screen scoreboard and shot-clock . We would like to thank our partners for helping make this possible.

Congratulations Cory!!

🏀✍️ CONGRATULATIONS SARIAH JACKSON! ✍️🏀

Montezuma-Cortez High School is proud to celebrate Sariah Jackson on signing to continue her academic and basketball career with Waldorf University Women’s Basketball in Iowa!

Throughout her high school career, Sariah represented Panther Nation with pride, determination, and leadership. From her sophomore season through her senior year, she made a lasting impact on the Lady Panthers basketball program with her work ethic, toughness, and dedication to the game.

During her junior year, Sariah faced one of the toughest challenges an athlete can endure with an ACL injury that sidelined her season. Instead of letting adversity define her, she attacked recovery with determination and resilience, returning stronger for her senior season and continuing to lead by example both on and off the court. Her comeback reflects the heart and perseverance that define Panther athletics.

As a senior, Sariah delivered standout performances throughout the season, including an 18-point effort on Senior Night against Bayfield and multiple double-digit scoring games during the year. Her leadership, commitment to her teammates, and passion for the game earned her the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.

Congratulations, Sariah! Your Panther family is proud of your journey and excited to watch you continue your career at Waldorf University. 🧡🖤🐾

Once a Panther, Always a Panther.
