South Forty Golf Course Cortez, Colorado The South Forty Golf Course & Driving Range , The South Forty is a challenging 9 hole, par 3 links style golf course. There is also a 300 yard Driving Range.

The South Forty is located in Cortez, Colorado, it is northeast of where the states of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah meet.. It is surrounded by Mesa Verde, the San Juan Mountain Range and the Sleeping Ute Mountain. The physical address is 25500 Road H.

Hey all you South Forty Patrons, Bruce, along with our wonderful volunteer, Chauncey, now have all 9 holes completed!

So come on down and enjoy playing golf back and forth across the creek.

We don't have riding carts anymore, but it is wonderful weather for walking!

Yes, we are still kid and pet friendly.

Hey South Forty Patrons, we are back in business! We have 9 playing holes on the North side of the creek. So, come play a quick game, or hit some balls before the weather changes. Don't forget to bring the kids.....and the well behaved pets!

Well, the news you have been waiting for has finally arrived! Starting this Wednesday, August 30th we are having a Soft Opening of the South Forty Golf Course. We will have 5 holes for $5; #1, #2, #3, #8 from #6 tees, & #9.

#5 and the holes on the South Side of the creek, are not yet in play.

Pick up a score card and put your money in the Fee Box as usual. No envelope necessary for now.

Hey South Forty Patrons! This is the day you have been waiting for!! As of November 1, we are now in off-season rates. Until April 1, 2021, every round of golf is only $5!!

A couple of weeks ago, an out of town golfer (Hal), wrote a letter telling us how much he liked the South Forty. His description of Bruce was so poetic, that I asked if I could share part of it. Here it is: “While I was there, I said to myself that this course wasn't built by an engineer, it was built by an artist and I had become part of his vision. ...that thought enabled me to play with a great deal of satisfaction and delight. I thought it must have been built by a true Scot!“.

Hi folks, Well the Medicine Horse Tournament is now history! We are now open again for business. We all had a great time. Weather even cooperated.. Here are the winners and their scores. We even had a three way tie for 2nd place! But, they chipped and putted for the winning positions. Fun Day!!
