What holds you back from improving? Many want results right away even after setbacks and injuries. Do you get down and depressed about the activities that you used to do compared to what you can do after an injury or fall? It takes time and you have to listen to your body and capabilities. Mobility, stability, strength, and stamina are not developed over night. You need to develop all the above with daily activity and routine. Never underestimate your capabilities and never stop trying and improving...daily and beyond. Sparks come from within...reaching deep...raising high!

Too many of us take what we have for granite. The ability to move, use our bodies on a daily basis, and get stronger physically and mentality. Yes, it takes effort, but it is certainly achievable and worthwhile. Our capabilities run deep compared to our few limitations. Focus on what you can do...not what you can't do. All of a sudden your life becomes alive with growth and possibilities.

My neighbor stopped me for 30-45 minutes yesterday to help her de-stress. It seemed to work as Maureen told me it's best for her to "go to her happy place," which for her is the ocean and walking in the sand. I think an ocean trip is in her near future. For me it's mostly the "big trees" and forrest, but it can be a mountain top or amazing blue lake too. Everyone has their favorite. If you don't mind sharing please add yours. Thanks!

I see way more inactivity and laziness than being proactive and using what you already have. I guess that's why I have a job/career. Helping others move and improve is a great path to work on/towards

There are limitless movements you can practice like: hiking, swimming, cycling, playing with your kids, challenging your strength and core with a tug-o-war, and many, many others. Hi there...I have basically let the FB page idle during the pandemic. I am currently training outside, backyards, in the privacy of your house, and beginning to train some at the gym again. Primarily where clients feel comfortable and are still looking to improve. I am not sure I want to proceed on FB because it's not actually where my clients come from. Personal Training In Marin exists because of referrals and the ability to help others. Thank you for each one of my clients' support. You are a huge part of my life and I am grateful.
