Proud of our cross country athletes in grades 7-12 leaving early in the morning for their meet in Crandall! Many of them attended the football game in Rockdale along with a few volleyball players also. These kids in Mildred are made different!

Our Cross Country teams headed to the Keene Invitational on Wednesday 8/26 for a practice on their new 3A district course.

Varsity Girls finished 9th of 21 teams
JV Girls took 1st place team
Our boys ran JV, Juan placed 3rd and Mason placed 9th.

Congratulations to our high school runners!!

Unfortunately our JH teams took off after lunch to head that way and then received news that Keene had to cancel their after school JH meet {so they turned around and went back to school} These kids have continued to work hard and were disappointed in not being able to compete. They are learning life lessons that sometimes things are simply out of our control.

Here’s to a week of practices before they take off to Crandall on Saturday 9/5.
