I’m not really sure where to start… so I’ll start with a very big thank you. 💙

Thank you to everyone who continues to remember Jay. Thank you to our golfers, our sponsors, our volunteers, the businesses who gave us discounts, everyone who donated, and our community and surrounding communities who continue to show up for us year after year.

We absolutely could not do this tournament without all of you.

This day means so much to our family. It’s a day filled with so many emotions, but most importantly, it’s a day that we get to honor our hero, Trooper Jacques “Jay” Rougeau Jr., and remind people just how special he was.

And if you know, you know. 💙 The day started with a few sprinkles of rain, but before long the sun came out and the golfers started arriving. Chloe gave an amazing toast to your life, the National Anthem was sung so beautifully, and then 140 golfers headed out onto the course to play in your memory.

Later, the Pennsylvania State Police helicopter flew over the course in your honor — a moment I don’t think any of us will ever forget. Members of the State Police also spent time at the course with our family, helping make an already special day mean even more.

There was a lot of fun, a whole lot of laughter, stories were shared, old memories were talked about and new memories were made.

And through all of it, you were there.

We just wish more than anything that you could have been there to see it. To see how many people still show up for you. To see how many people still say your name, tell your stories and carry your memory with them.

We wish you could see just how loved you are.

And how proud we are to call you our hero. 💙

⛳️💙 TOMORROW WE TEE OFF FOR JAY! 💙⛳️

The day we’ve been planning and preparing for is finally here!

🏌️ Tee off will be around 9:00 AM, but we’d like to have everyone ready to go by 8:45 AM as we begin the morning with a few special tributes to Jay. 💙

☀️ The weather is looking AMAZING, the course is ready, and we cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow!

In just one week, we’ll gather again at North Hills Golf Course for the Trooper Jay Rougeau Jr. Memorial Golf Scramble — a day that is, and always will be, about remembering Jay, honoring his service, and continuing to do good in his name.

This tournament has allowed us to give back in so many meaningful ways, and this year we have one more opportunity to do that.

During the tournament, we’ll be collecting donations for Trooper Gary Knott’s family, and we will MATCH those donations up to $3,000.

If you’re golfing, bring a little extra cash if you’re able. 💙

Trooper Gary Knott is a Pennsylvania State Trooper, Camp Cadet mentor, and dedicated community servant who recently suffered a heartbreaking loss that has left his wife and family needing support.

The Trooper Jay Rougeau Jr. Memorial Golf Scramble was created in memory of Trooper Jacques “Jay” Rougeau Jr., who was killed in the line of duty in 2023. The tournament is about more than remembering Jay — it’s about continuing his legacy by supporting law-enforcement families and others in need.

From now through September 12th, we will be collecting donations for Trooper Knott’s family, and the tournament will match every donation dollar for dollar, up to $3,000.

The golf scramble will be held September 5th from 9 AM–3 PM at North Hills Golf Course in Corry, PA. If you’d like to donate in person, the public is welcome to stop up during the tournament — you do not have to be golfing or attending the event to help.
