What an amazing race last night! This was the one race I really wanted to win, and we got it done at the Glen in the dual Smoke throwback paint at FKRL! That is now win #6 on the season and it has been such an amazing season and confidence booster for me. There are some good and fast drivers at FKRL, so for me to have the season I am having is just unreal to me. Currently, we hold an 18-point lead over Ryan Warp for the championship with only 4 races left to go in the season. Next week, it's the Last Great Coliseum, Bristol Motor Speedway. I've never fared well at Bristol in the past and usually end up wrecked and on the hauler, but with the way this season has come along, I definitely can't rule anything out! I can't thank Gerald Poole enough for hosting such a great series with such a great group of people. GWC finish from New Hampshire Sunday night.

I don't know how this keep happening, but after getting a 2nd place finish last week in the All-Star race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, we got another one last night in FKRL @ New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Win #5 of the season and extended the points lead heading into Michigan next week. Another race where I wasn't super confident with my speed but somehow our race pace managed to lead 63 of 68 total laps and barely held off a hard charging Timothy St. Jean in a GWC finish! Simply incredible. Cannot say it enough as to how much I enjoy running over at FKRL. Such a great group of drivers over there. So much fun every week! Looking forward to getting to Michigan next Sunday night and then it's off to my favorite road course of all time and one I know very well, Watkins Glen!

Oops, we did it again! Picked up win #4 of the season at Rockingham Speedway Sunday night! I did not feel comfortable going into the race as Rockingham is a tricky track to get around, so I found a pace in my final practice session before the race session opened that I felt was "safe" and wasn't going to kill my car on the exit of turn 2 and by golly, that "safe" pace happened to be fast as hell! Led all 65 laps for my second flag to flag victory of the season. I have also officially taken over the points lead by 6 over Ryan Warp. Never thought I would ever have a season like I am having right now over at FKRL! I'm so used to getting my ass kicked week in and week out in my other leagues, it's nice to finally be competitive for a change. It is so much fun racing at FKRL and the group of drivers over there are great! Onto Old Atlanta this coming Sunday night for the All-Star race! No traditional race points on the line, but some bonus points toward the season championship will be, so I still need to show up and keep the pressure on! Man, I love racing here. It's so much fun!

The final green/white/checkered finish from virtual Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Sunday night where I picked up my 3rd win of the season holding off point leader Ryan Warp who had 2 fresh right side tires vs my old tires. This win moves me to within 2 points of the points lead! Hopefully I can keep this momentum up as we head into some pretty difficult tracks in the back half of the season.
