Happy to announce that after a year hiatus from posting to Facebook...WE ARE BACK BABY! I am taking a hiatus from Adrenaline Racing and getting back to my roots! So, after a small rebrand, BUTTCRACK MOTORSPORTS is getting back on the track on iRacing! Now with RAM being back in NASCAR, iRacing has implemented the RAM to the truck series and that's what we find ourselves in for the new upcoming season of the Four Seasons Auto Wash Truck Series over at Free Time Racing for the next season. Tonight is the finale for the current season, but next Monday begins the new season live from Talladega Superspeedway. I've had a blast racing with the guys over at FTR and look forward to another great season upcoming. We aren't fighting for a championship this season but should finish the season with a solid top 10 in points for our "rookie" season with the series! Also, I'm getting back into running official races on iRacing. The new iRacing season started this week, so it's time to try and raise that iRating. The goal is to reach 2k or beyond by the end of 2026 in oval. Going to run sports car races as well, but road racing is much more competitive. I was going to set the same year end goal for Sports Car as well, but I think the goal is going to be learn all I can and just try to get comfortable with actually racing!

We are back tonight in the NOMA Cup Series @ Las Vegas for 160 laps. It's gonna be hot and slick and slidey! Hopefully we can survive this night and bring the car home in one piece. I'm not going to stream tonight because I had issues last week and I want to see if maybe the streaming was part of the issue or if we were just in a bad session. What started as a very stressful start to the race last night turned out to be a somewhat successful finish for us at Daytona in the 1st race of the NOMA Cup Series season. I fought some latency issues for the first time ever for about the first 50-60 laps which was causing me to blink out and have stuttering issues. I had to ride around in the back and then use the first 3 or 4 cautions to adjust some graphic settings and stop my stream. Once I finally got that somewhat figured out, I managed to work my way up from 30th to 18th. Coming to take the white flag I was still running p18, an incident in turns 3 and 4 allowed me to jump to p14, then coming to the checkers, the leaders all decided to wreck each other, and I found the only hole available on the bottom and made it through the melee and jumped another 6 spots to finish p8 in the season opener. Finally made it to the checkered flag in a league superspeedway race and after all the issues I had to fight through, to bring it home in a top 10 spot...was a win in my books. Next Saturday night we head to the hot, hot desert of Nevada and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Tonight, we kick off a new adventure...a new series...a brand-new race season! Tonight, the NOMA Cup Series starts its 7th season at Daytona International Speedway. We race 100 laps around the 2.5-mile superspeedway tonight, where once again I will have to battle not only 41 other drivers, but also...my superspeedway demons. My luck at superspeedways has been absolutely horrendous, but we are looking to turn that around tonight as we make our Cup Series debut with Adrenaline Racing! It should be an interesting and very competitive season for us. From what I have seen so far, this league has some very clean, very tough competition. I think our goal for this season is going to be to continue to learn this car, be patient and try to at least fight for a top half of the field finish. We are back to making left turns soon. Starting March 8th, we will be back in the Next Gen's and running in the NOMA Cup Series. Adrenaline Racing has a field of 7 or 8 drivers that will be running the series, so we will have plenty of teammates on the track with us. Got some fresh looks for this season as well courtesy of Carter Racing Paints. Should be a very interesting and competitive season ahead! Wanting to shout out the OG Buttcrack, my father Russ Martin, today as it is his 63rd birthday! Happy Birthday pops! Throwing it back to 10 years ago when we were running dirt karts around our local tracks! Good times! Love ya pops! Hey everyone! Just a heads up that I have started to stream once again, so if you're not already following, please head over and give our Twitch channel a follow as well as our YouTube channel. I will hopefully be streaming to both platforms now! Going to test it tomorrow more than likely to make sure that the YouTube works. I just uploaded a couple of new videos to the channel over there so be sure to like and subscribe to that as well! I appreciate the support as I continue to try some new things and push myself out of my comfort zone just a little bit. lol I have been dipping my toes into broadcasting as well as of late with my buddy/teammate John Ross for a league called Racer's Elite and have been having a good time doing that as well. We had a fantastic 24-hour event! Finished p3 overall in the Daytona 24. Had a blast! Bring on the next endurance race at the end of February for the Bathurst 12 hour!

Tomorrow is a big day! We've done the testing, put in the seat time and now tomorrow the Adrenaline Racing Team will participate in one of, if not the largest sim racing special events of the year. Like in real life, we will run in the Daytona 24. 24 straight hours of racing. For this event, we will be trading up from our usual GT3 entry and will field one of the fastest cars on iRacing, the GTP/Hybrid! This car is so fun to drive! We will see how we can shake out in this big event!
