Anyone who has taught kids understands their feet don't fill their boots symmetrically. The same is true for us ole cowgirls whose feet have seen some stuff! Balance points change with different footwear, age & injuries. In Centered Riding instructors are taught a foot tap to help find the Bubbling Spring. I would LOVE some more seasoned riders in my lesson program!! Haul-in to my arena in Corrales or come ride the Balance Rider or one of my horses to have new awareness & feelings to take home to your horse!
And yes, I pick 4 in a perfect world...but 1 if I'm on a young horse or anticipate 💩 hitting the fan 2 if I'm wearing shanked boots & riding in oxbow stirrups & 3 when supporting the outside of my foot on a super wide horse but I'd prefer shims, but this could be a great rehab position in many situations.....I'd be happy to help you find what is currently working best for you!

This was before the hail started 😂 it has been more winter weather than the spring weather we had last year, but the sun shined too & we are having a blast!!!! The horses are happy, healthy & so so awesome!!!

Gleniff horseshoe mountain ride yesterday, today was our only day off. Back out to the island tomorrow!!!
