HAPPENING ON JULY 4TH! ✨

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 4th Annual Coastal Comida Fest on the Great Lawn at The Water's Edge on Saturday, July 4, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. to celebrate the holiday. 🌊 🏖️🌴

It's going to be a fun, family-friendly event with lots of delicious food options for you and your loved ones to enjoy, along with LIVE music! Don't forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket to kick back, relax, and soak in all the entertainment. Pets on a leash are welcome.

Come for the food, stay for the fireworks along our bayfront. See you there! 💫💥🧨

The Reliant’s “Beat the Heat” Program, in partnership with Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, invites Corpus Christi residents to come inside and stay cool during the hottest summer days. 🌞

📣 MARK YOUR CALENDAR:
Curbside Fan Distribution from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (while supplies last): Drive through to pick up a free fun, at-home family activities game packet, a box fan, and cool snacks. 400 box fans will be distributed. There is a limit of 1 fan per person and a max of 2 fans per car. You must be present to receive.

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for its 2026 Summer Mini-Dribbler Co-ed League. This 5-game introduction program is tailored for kids ages 3 to 5, with an emphasis on fun. Games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 6 p.m., from July 14 to July 28 at the Corpus Christi Gym. Registration is open now through July 5 for only $50 per player.
