Beach to Bay Relay Marathon is the largest relay marathon in the United States and has become a tradition for running enthusiasts and fun seekers across the country. Founded in 1976 by Captain John Butterfield the race has grown in immense proportions since 1976. Today, Beach to Bay Relay Marathon attracts more than 2,500 teams with over 15,000 runners from the U.S. This annual six-person relay ru

nning event is held in Corpus Christi, Texas annually on the third Saturday in May to celebrate Armed Forces Day and honor the men and women serving and protecting our country. All proceeds from Beach to Bay Relay Marathon go to local charities in the Coastal Bend Area!

Presented by Herrman & Herrman PLLC, the 50th Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon was created to honor the Armed Forces. Held every year on the third Saturday of May, that legacy continues as we honor our active-duty military, veterans, and first responders.
Thank you to the local community for cheering on the participants, and to all the visitors who bring so much energy and passion to the Coastal Bend!
