I met Don Abraham when I went to the Selena museum and he was very welcoming to my grandma and me, he took us around the entire Q Productions, he even showed me the microphone with the lipstick and he introduced us to Pete Estudillo and Ricky Vela and we also met Suzette. I’ll never forget that day! It was back in 2012 and at the time they didn’t allowed cameras inside the museum. I don’t agree with how controlling he was with his family and the fact that he exploited his children, but I also acknowledge that with out him I would’ve never have known of Selena y Los Dinos. His contribution to the sounds of the borderlands and Mexican-American music history is undeniable and deserved to be recognized. My most sincere condolences to the Quintanilla family and the Q Productions Team.
