Tejas Bowmen Archery Club

Tejas Bowmen Archery Club Formed in 1938, our mission is "The enjoyment, mastery and furtherance of archery as a sport through cooperation and good fellowship."

The Tejas Archery Bowmen Club's activities are centered to promote archery as a sport for the family. Our shooters range from 6 years old to very special senior citizens. Whether you're a bow hunter or an avid tournament shooter, we have full facilities for up to 28 field shooting (targets), 3-D shooting and a first class practice range that allows for 10-70 yard shots. eat for practicing in both areas of archery. We also have a very nice picnic area for the casual archer and family to enjoy year round. This is a great way to get more involved with other people who share the same passions as you. We are a fun loving and easy going group of people.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our longtime Tejas Bowmen lifetime members, Bruce Heard.

Bruce was more than a great shooter, he was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand, share his knowledge, and do whatever was needed to support the club and his fellow archers.

His friendship, generosity, and presence on the range will be deeply missed by all of us at Tejas Bowmen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. We are grateful for the many years, memories, and friendships we were fortunate enough to share with him.

Rest easy, Bruce. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to shoot with us today! We had an awesome turnout, some great shooting, and even better company. Y’all absolutely crushed it out there!
