My name is Amy Borden and my goal is to help prevent accidental drownings in children. Living in Corpus Christi, TX we are surrounded by water....lakes, canals, pools, beaches, etc. When I had my son I wanted to do everything in my power to protect him, so when he was 13 months old I enrolled him in swim survival lessons. In just a few weeks he learned to float on his back which would help him sur

vive if he were ever to fall in water alone. I was so impressed with these lessons that I decided to get certified and begin teaching to ensure that as many children as possible could learn this life saving skill. I also teach beginning stroke to children once they are competent in their survival swim skills.

Accidental fall-ins can happen at any time at and any age!
I just fell in the pool fully clothed, phone in pocket and running blower in hand. Make sure your little ones have the skills to either independently float or swim and climb out if they ever unexpectedly fall in.
I can also recommend the Craftsman battery blower….came out from being fully submerged and still running 👍🏻
