As a young boy, I grew up in south Texas on the Arroyo Colorado River running trot lines out of a 14 foot jon boat. My love for fishing continued to grow and developed into taking multiple deep sea head boats for Red Snapper. My next journey was for the hard fighting steroid filled redfish. At the age of 14, I was hooked, and I knew I had to share my passion for these fish with as many people as I
could. I am still passionate after 30 years of fishing for these shallow water bruisers . A day on the water with me will consist of instruction, encouragement, and the opportunity to catch redfish, trout, and flounder (Texas Slam). Whether educating children or beginners my approach is always courteous and fun. However when guiding seasoned anglers, I understand catching is paramount and I will do everything possible to locate fish.
