The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation will resume offering its Adult Drop-in Volleyball program for ages 18 and up every Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sign up for only $7 at https://Register.CCParkAndRec.com before heading to the gym to get in the game! 🏐

Does your child attend Ray High School?? Tell them to come on out and create a team to play in our first volleyball tournament hosted by the RHS volleyball team.

$10 a player, each team must have at least 8 players on a team.

Find forms from Coach Byrd. An email has also been sent to staff and posted in the announcements.

Some announcements for our girls!

Starting next week we will have open gym on the following days (Tuesdays and Thursdays). All Ray middle school VLC is welcome to attend.

Camp flyers and info will go out soon!

Tryouts for incoming freshmen will be
•Saturday, August 1st from 9-11am, 2-4pm.
•Monday, August 2nd 6-8am
•Tuesday, August 3rd 6-8am

Tryouts for 10th-12th grade will be
•Monday, August 2nd 6-8am and 5-7pm
•Tuesday, August 3rd 6-8am and 5-7pm

Yes, girls designated to those groups will need to attend all sessions associated with them. Please have rank one and physicals turned in before tryouts.

Baker MS is hosting May 12th and Ray HS is hosting 13th starting at 4:30pm.

This is a great opportunity to make sure you have your physical completed and turned in prior to tryouts!

1st Team
Destanee Hargis - led the team in kills (192), kill percentage (32.9), aces (23) and digs(321)

2nd team
Sophia Gomez - led the team in assists (282) and hit her career milestone of 500 assists this season. She was also 2nd in digs (228)

Honorable Mention
Khloe Bentancourt - led the team in blocks (19), 2nd in kill percentage(32.5), and 2nd in kills (91)
Ava Martinez - 3rd in kill percentage (31%)
