What a weekend for our STX Venom boys at the Perfect Game Deep South Texas State Tournament in Portland, Texas!

Our team finished the weekend with a strong 2-1-1 record, battling through adversity every step of the way and competing with toughness, grit, and heart. The tournament run came to an end in the semifinals with a hard-fought loss to the eventual tournament champions, Bravos, but these boys never stopped competing.

More important than the record, this group continues to represent our program the right way, playing the game with class, respect, and relentless effort every time they step on the field. We are incredibly proud of how these young men carried themselves all weekend long.

A special thank you to our amazing parents and families for the constant support, encouragement, and dedication throughout the season. It truly takes a team effort on and off the field.

Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead. Keep working, boys! ⚾🔥

We are incredibly proud of the young men of STX Venom 12U for the way they represent our team with hard work, discipline, and character every single day. Whether it’s competing between the lines or excelling in school, these boys continue to raise the standard and make our organization proud.

Bash came up with big hits all weekend long and delivered two strong performances on the mound to help lead STX Venom 12U to a finalist finish.

STX Venom - 12U started practice with some tee work to focus on fundamentals and attacking the outer-half of the plate and ended practice with a visualization session where players visualized themselves in a high leverage situation where they get the job done! It may feel "silly" to a group of 12 year olds, but these guys were locked in.
