Working on your Center and Center Defender skills is important for every player, not just the athletes who play center full time. During a game, teams will often try to post you up, and you need the strength, positioning, and body control to defend effectively and avoid giving up easy opportunities. On offense, every player should be able to drive in, establish position, and post up when the situation calls for it, creating scoring chances and helping the team stay dynamic and unpredictable.
