This is one of the revolvers I'm sending in for work. It's a Smith and Wesson K38 Combat Masterpiece, (now known as the Model 15) made in 1951. It's history makes it very special to me.

It was carried by a City of Coronado Police Department police officer as his duty weapon until he retired. He sold it to my uncle, Gene Adams (CHS 1954) who eventually gave it to my dad, Pat Adams (CHS 1956).

I inherited it from him when he passed, and it's a forever gun, which I will never sell. Soon it will be off for a new finish and some minor gunsmithing.
