“I have competed in Local ESA NY contest for the past two years and have ended top 3 in my division every year. I surfed in the Snow for the first time this December at my local surf spot in New York. I have competed in Outer Banks and Ocean City Maryland for the regionals and east coast championships. My favorite waves are Lower Trestles and Playa Grande. I surf year round in New York and Vacation to Southern California every summer to surf and Visit family.”

“I spent my whole life growing up around the ocean, but not taking surfing seriously until I was about 14. That year I started the amateur contests and loved it! Each heat was an opportunity to learn, win or lose. Some of my highlights included contests at the NSSA, WSA, Prime/USA Surfing, and then later competing on the WSL QS. The international travel opportunities via the QS pre-Covid were my favorite memories. The friendships have become life-long and the memories I will definitely cherish forever. While I’m not competing anymore, I still absolutely love surfing and I look back on my competitive history with pride. I am thoroughly enjoying free surfing and spending as much time as I can improving my technique. Cheers!”
