This Varsity team is the true definition of grit. They showed up every single day committed to being better than the day before, finding joy along the way, making memories we’ll never forget, and always laughing.

This past weekend at Nationals, they left every ounce of heart on that mat. And while trophies and scores are exciting, what I’m most proud of is the resilience, determination, unwavering support!

This season was special. Not because of a result, but because of who they are.

JV/Fresh performed like they had nothing to lose and everything to prove, however, what we’re most proud of? They left it all on the mat.

Every count hit with intention. Every stunt fought for. Every tumbling pass attacked. When they stepped onto that floor at USA Nationals, there was no hesitation, just heart.

You could see it in their faces. You could feel it in their energy. They weren’t holding back. They weren’t playing it safe. They gave every ounce of confidence, grit, and passion they had for two and a half minutes. They walked out of that performance knowing they did absolutely everything they could. That’s what champions do in our book. That’s what growth looks like.

Third in the nation is incredible… but the pride of watching them give everything they’ve got for each other? Unmatched. We are so overwhelmed with gratitude and pride to be your coaches. Watching you grow into the team you have became has been the greatest reward any coach could ask for.

What makes this placement so special isn’t just the trophy. It’s the journey. The corrections you took without complaint. The resilience when things felt hard. The trust you built with each other. Thank you for trusting us, for trusting the process, and for representing our program with so much class and heart.
