On a perfect Monday morning, July 21, 2025, the fifth annual "Take a Swing at Hunger Golf Classic" teed off at the renowned Powelton Club, to benefit Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh. The air buzzed with excitement as twenty-one teams, played a four-person scramble. After the tournament, golfers and guests gathered for the awards ceremony and dinner banquet. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared sense of accomplishment. We had raised $22,000 for Meals on Wheels, surpassing all expectations!

Thank you to all of the Sponsors and golfers, with special recognition to Giordano Industrial and the Kaplan Family Foundation as Platinum “Ace” Sponsors. Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you to the MoW Golf Committee and the Volunteers for doing a terrific job!

Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh, Inc. is hosting the “2025 Take a Swing at Hunger Golf Classic” charity tournament on Monday, July 21, 2025 at The Powelton Club, Newburgh, NY. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support our program!

We are asking for your assistance to maintain our mission and help our cause. Playing in the golf tournament, any donation to it, be it a financial sponsorship, or services/goods for our silent auction, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support in helping us help others! Please see the golf registration and sponsor donation forms. $225 Registration Fee by 5/31/25 includes golf, beer cart, breakfast, cocktail hour, dinner buffet, dessert, and prizes!
