A Tribute to Samur

Today, we said goodbye to a very special horse.

Samur was born on July 29, 1999, at 3T Farm in Scottsville, KY and spent his life carrying himself with the presence, beauty, and spirit that made the American Saddlebred so extraordinary. He was so much more than a stallion to us—he was a part of our family, our farm, and our lives.

As the stallion standing for Waterford Farm, Samur left his mark through his beautiful get and the legacy he created. He gave us countless memories, tremendous pride, and a love for the American Saddlebred that will stay with us forever.

There are some horses who come into your life, and there are horses who become a part of who you are. Samur was one of those horses.

Thank you, Sam, for every memory, every beautiful foal, every proud moment, and for simply being you.

Run free, Sam. ❤️
