1️.GROWING UP
Born and raised in Santa Fe NM, lived in Miami, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Boise and Now call Charlotte home where I work as banking exec by day and a fitness instructor by night

2️.EXPERIENCE
Grew up dancing ballet and chasing winter 🎿 and started teaching group fitness classes in 2017

3️. Teaching STYLE
Rhythmic with alignment focused cueing and hands-on corrections (when we are allowed to again) and I LOVE using combo moves!

4️. FAVORITE MOVE
Floor lunge off the back…there’s no escape! 😈

5️. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT 704 and LKN
I’m the type of person who’s never been able to meditate necessarily or do yoga or anything like that and CORE 704, for me, takes care of all of that in one swipe for me. I love how challenging the classes are and I always leave class feeling really great and 1000% refreshed and also totally spent!! It’s an amazing community and I’m so excited to join the team!

New Coach Intro: Kate S.

Kate started working in fitness 6 plus years ago in California. She taught multiple different kinds of group fitness but fell in love with teaching pilates because of how she saw it changing clients bodies and lives. She loves the community aspect of small fitness studios and how they bring people together and give them a place to belong. In 2016 she decided that it was time to open her own studio! She ran and operated that pilates studio for four years, but recently sold it to pursue life with her family in North Carolina. One of Kate's other passions besides fitness is baking! She is now pursuing growing her cake design business, Flour and Batter, here in the LKN area, but couldn't stay away from teaching group fitness completely. Kate is so excited to be a part of Core LKN and to get to know this community of amazing people.
