I’m excited to share details about our new PLL Winter League, beginning in early December!
As a coach with over 25 years of experience, I firmly believe the PLL Sixes format is the best way for players to develop real game skills during the off-season. With a smaller playing field and faster pace, Sixes keeps every athlete engaged while building their overall lacrosse IQ.
Since the league runs during the holiday season, the time commitment is minimal: players will only need to play one, one-hour game on Sunday afternoons. The schedule includes built-in breaks around the holidays to avoid conflicts with family time.
Once registration closes, players will have the chance to request teammates or submit a full roster before we begin the draft.

League Details
We’re bringing pro-style lacrosse action to Lake Norman this winter through our partnership with the Premier Lacrosse League.
Duration: 6 weeks of games, including playoffs and a championship
Draft: Players will be drafted to a PLL Pro team on December 5
Game Dates: 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 1/4, 1/11 (Playoffs), 1/18 (Championship & Consolation Games)
Location: Bailey Middle School Turf
Game Times: Sundays, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Eligible Grades: 1st – 9th
Roster Size: Capped at 12 field players per team to maximize reps.
Each player will receive a licensed PLL game uniform once drafted!
