Tonight's the night! My car is packed with everything I need and all the kites I have to sell! Even the big "Sweet 16" will be available for sale here! Fly big or go home! See ya around 4pm. Come for dinner at the Food Truck Rodeo!

Inspiration to Result!

I was barely into kiting and I decided to take on a project I've never done before. Making an inflatable kite! I planned it in my head and I also said, "I need to write down every step". I didn't want to screw it up. So I did! I wrote every step out, started ordering ripstop material, thread, kite line, sewing machine foot, glue,, anything I thought I needed. I used brown paper on the roll for a pattern. I hand drew the VW shape out and "went to town"!

I don't know how many times I swore at it. I don't know how many time I had to rip out stitching. I don't know how many hours I stayed up late. I don't know how many hours totally it took... But I like it and it's my pride and joy. Just like the inspirational real vehicle was :)
