Hot Air Affair Rising Above Cancer 2025 Maverick photo dump!

A great weekend with the Mavericks! Congratulations Lauren Sawin, and Hunter Nutting on the news systems as well as Danielle DePrimo on the new basket! Another congratulations to Lauren for her 1st place finish!
We were able to get some balloon activities in but we also had a fun time floating down the river, and just hanging out. We look forward to Anderson next year, until then we will keep doing what we do!

Woman’s day 4-6 (a tad late)
Day 4 – No morning flight due to unstable weather, but that didn’t slow the fun. The day started with breakfast at the local airport restaurant, followed by some study time and a visit to the ATC tower,a real highlight! The skies cleared just in time for an evening flight, finishing it off by the most beautiful sunset. To top it all off, they celebrated Jett's birthday!
Day 5 – A stunning long morning flight kicked off the day, followed by some much-needed rest. The evening was all about the Hot Air Jubilee watching the launch, enjoying the glow, and even getting some burner time.
Day 6 – The final morning flight wrapped up an incredible week. Huge thanks to an awesome landowner who not only welcomed us but also took some fantastic photos. We ended the day,and, the week with a ceremony and quality time together.
The Mavericks had an amazing week!Jett placed 18th, but at the end of the day, placement is just a number. What truly matters is the fun, the learning, the friendships, and above all safety!

Women's day 2 & 3

Day 2 was a busy day with both flights going off successfully! Jett flew great both morning and evening!
Day 3 was a chill day due to weather canceling both flights. They had the opportunity to tour the Cameron balloon factory and then hung out this evening, making friendships bracelets, studying for upcoming test, playing uno and just having a fun time together! They are hoping for better weather as the week goes on!!

Women's Day 1!
The mavericks have arrived in Jackson,Mi. They had a great practice flight this morning. We look foward to watching the adventures at their first competition event! Good luck to Jett & team!
