WELCOME TO THE GPSC TEAM, Dan Abbenante!

We’re excited to welcome Dan Abbenante to The Greater Pittsburgh Sports Complex baseball training staff!

A Monroeville native and Gateway High School graduate, Dan played college baseball at Seton Hill University and brings extensive coaching and player-development experience.

His coaching experience includes:
• Head Baseball Coach at Wheeling Jesuit University
• Graduate Assistant at Wheeling Jesuit
• Assistant Varsity Coach at Moon Area High School
• Assistant Varsity Coach at Quaker Valley High School
• Hitting Instructor & 16U Coach at All American Baseball
• USA Baseball NTIS Task Force Member

Starting October 6th, Dan will offer small-group baseball training specializing in Hitting or Fielding at GPSC!

Sessions will be age- and ability-specific and focused on high-repetition, position-specific training to help athletes develop their skills and confidence.

$40/player
Minimum of 3 athletes per session

25 YEARS. NEVER FORGET.

Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the nearly 3,000 innocent lives we lost.

We honor the brave men and women of the NYPD, FDNY, first responders, and emergency services who ran toward danger to protect others.

We also remember the brave men and women of our United States military who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed.

Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Twenty five years ago, our country came together. We stood united, we stood proud, and we stood for one another.

That spirit of unity is something worth remembering and something worth carrying forward.

Never Forget. September 11, 2001.

What an great day of competition this past Saturday at the B&E Mixed Doubles Tournament!

A huge thank you to all of the players who joined us for another fantastic event. The competition was fierce, the sportsmanship was outstanding, and the energy on the courts made for an unforgettable day. Special thanks to Bruno for continuing to grow and elevate the pickleball community in Pittsburgh.

🏈 Girls Flag Football Clinic (Ages 10-13) 🏈

Want to learn one of the fastest-growing sports in Pennsylvania? Girls Flag Football is now a WPIAL and PIAA-sanctioned high school sport, and this clinic is the perfect way to get started!

Athletes will learn the fundamentals of all positions (QB, RB, WR, LB, CB, & S), offensive and defensive concepts, and compete in game-like situations each week.
