Looking Ahead…
2023 is flying by and before you know it summer and all its activities will be upon us!
As most of you are aware, we opened our Curves doors in Eldridge-2002, Tipton-2003, North Liberty-2003, Coralville-2004, Champaign and Savoy IL-2009 with the goal of helping women lower their blood pressures, cholesterol, sugar levels and body fat%. All the while increasing bone density, balance, strength and flexibility in a clean and safe community of women taking care of themselves. The Curves Workout© and our awesome skilled and certified staff have helped you and our memberships do just that.
As a Curves Franchise, you have helped us achieve the coveted Curves Shining Star distinction along with Curves International’s Elite Club distinction over the years!
CURVES has been the journey of a lifetime for Paul and me and our entire family…our son’s were in high school and college, however Kate was 8 and Kirsten was just 10 years old when we started this great adventure! We will be closing the Coralville Curves & Studio 889 chapter of our lives with the final workouts Friday, May 26, 2023.
It is a bittersweet decision but our lives are now calling us in a new and different direction. It is time for new dreams, new adventures, new challenges and spending time with our grandchildren.
We are incredibly grateful to our members, our community and the absolute BEST Staff! We had NO idea Curves as a brand would do so well and that you all would embrace and love this gym and wellness philosophy as you have. We are extremely proud of you and grateful for all that we have learned along the way. We are honored by the hundreds and hundreds of relationships we have built with our memberships, staff, each other and YOU!
Please continue to focus on you and your family’s wellness…no matter your age! Healthy aging doesn’t occur by accident! Consistent strength and cardio exercise over time is the best recipe for health and wellness…no matter your age!
